NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES BEGINS AT NOON (ET) ON 9/1/09 AND ENDS AT 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 11/30/09. MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12/7/09.
- HOW TO ENTER: Two ways to enter: (1) ON-LINE ENTRY: Visit www.gosunocoaplus.com, complete the on-screen registration form and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your online entry. ALL ON-LINE ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 11:59:59 AM (ET) ON 11/30/09. On-line Entry Limit: One (1) on-line entry per e-mail address per day. If more than one (1) on-line entry per e-mail address is received per day, then only the first such entry is eligible. Each on-line entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the natural person assigned the e-mail address by the entity responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with such person’s e-mail address. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same e-mail address.; or (2) MAIL-IN ENTRY: Print your name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone number and date of birth on a 3" X 5" piece of paper and send completed mail-in entry in a business-size envelope to Combos® And M&M's® Brand Garage Makeover Sweepstakes Entries, P.O. Box 5754, Blair, NE 68009-5754. ALL MAIL-IN ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 12/7/09. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries will be accepted. Mail-in Entry Limit: One (1) mail-in entry per outer envelope. All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
- SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about 12/11/09 by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winners will be notified by mail.
- PRIZES AND ODDS: One (1) Grand Prize: $2,500 (awarded as a check made payable to winner). Ten (10) First Prizes: A $100 SUNOCO® GAS CARD. Thirty (30) Second Prizes: A $25 SUNOCO® GAS CARD. Seventy-Five (75) Third Prizes: A $10 SUNOCO® GAS CARD. Total Value of All Prizes: $5,000. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Gas Cards are subject to the terms and conditions of their issuer and will not be replaced if lost, stolen or destroyed. All prizes will be awarded (assuming sufficient number of eligible entries). Allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery of prizes. Limit: One (1) prize per household. Sponsor reserves right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. No other substitution or transfer of prizes permitted. Sponsor responsible only for prize delivery; not responsible for prize utility, quality or otherwise. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of winners.
- ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individual legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and D.C., age 13 or older as of 9/1/09, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsor, Sunoco, Inc. and their respective affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies.
- VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Grand Prize winner will, and other winners may, be required to sign affidavits of eligibility and liability releases and, where permitted, publicity releases. Grand Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit and release(s) are not returned within 14 days after mailing. Return of any prize and/or prize notification letter as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of such prize. Each winner agrees to use of his/her name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law.
- GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is void outside the United States and where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes is governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States. Sponsor and judges not responsible for: late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage due or misdirected entries, mail or communications; for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines; data corruption; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise. Further, Sponsor and judges not responsible for electronic communications which are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering of any kind or insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail messages. The use of automated software or computer programs to register for or enter this Sweepstakes is prohibited and any individual who uses or attempts to use such methods to register or enter will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to restrict registrations from any IP address if a suspicious registration and/or entry is detected. Sponsor disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participating in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Sweepstakes, and reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should any virus, bug, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes. In the event of any such cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing will be held from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to such time. Sponsors reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant (and all of his/her entries) from this Sweepstakes or any other promotion conducted now or in the future by Sponsor or any of its affiliates if he/she tampers with the entry process or if his/her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserve the right to correct clerical or typographical errors in promotional materials. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that he/she is eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. By accepting prize, winner agrees to release Sponsor, Sunoco, Inc. and their respective directors, employees, officers and agents, including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damage arising from or in connection with the awarding, receipt andor use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activity.
- CAUTION. ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
